As I wrote my first two blog posts today I checked my Facebook memories and was like "what no way". Well yes way. Last year on this day, it was the first time my husband and I did a hiking trail in the city of Pittsburgh (Emerald view Trail). I would say this was an easier trail overall but definitely not flat (somewhat walking along a hillside). Some of it you are walking on a sidewalk through mt washington. I would think it could get muddy after a rain. I would keep open an app like all trails because it was a little bit confusing walking on the street at first. I also recommend this trail in the spring because in the summer I think some of the views would be obstructed by leaves on the trees.

It was a nice sunny day and we stopped at 412 brewery after who is owned by one of the brewers that use to be at Fury (and was my husband's neighbor growing up kinda ... small world). The beer I had below I believe Was a Mexican hot chocolate and it was strong! But good..

As we were sitting outside sipping our beers I said to my husband "look at that squirrel, it's weird, and different ". Since we had hiked, my nikon camera was sitting in the car. Shane brings me back my camera, I get some good shots, and later after some research learn the squirrel we saw was a female showing leucism. (If anyone thinks otherwise let me know lol) 😆

Another great day of visiting new spots. Cheers !

✨️Suggested hike: emerald view trail in Pittsburgh, and go to a local brewery! There are a ton. One of the viewpoints pictured below.
